Profile of Armonía Floral Studio
Meet the Florist | Reiko Hoshino
She started her journey into floral design in 2016. After completing a professional wedding florist curriculum, she traveled internationally to study with renowned florists, including Catherine Muller, Jean Yves Lann, Frida Kim, Floraison Paris, and Miluna Studio to refine and develop her own floral style.
Along with Western floral arrangements, she has been practicing Sogetsu Ikebana for over 10 years and currently holds the Sogetsu Ikebana Teacher’s Certificate, Third Grade.
Inspired by the philosophy of Ikebana, with its emphasis on lines, space, and emptiness, and the European garden style that celebrates the natural movement of flowers and foliage, she has created her own signature floral style—an artistic blend of organic beauty and contemporary design.
The Story of Armonía Floral Studio in Tokyo
In 2018, she founded Armonía Floral Studio in Shanghai and relocated to Tokyo in 2020. Since then, florists from around the world have traveled to Japan to join her 1-on-1 private floral classes and learn her signature floral designs.
Teaching students beyond borders is her greatest pleasure, and she looks forward to sharing her passion through inspiring floral workshops and private classes.
